David Reilly (Scotland)

David Reilly FRCP, MRCGP. FFHom is a doctor, active in caring for people. He is a Consultant Physician at The Centre for Integrative Care, Glasgow Homoeopathic Hospital; Honorary Senior Lecturer at Glasgow University; Visiting Professor of Medicine in Maryland and faculty member at Harvard Medical School, USA. His ideas were recently used as core elements in the 5th Wave document on future public health development (www.scottishcouncilfoundation.org ), and he is now developing the WEL programme – Wellness Enhancement Learning. Active in science, teaching, and media, a musician and poet, he explores the synthesis of art and science (which he nicknamed ‘artience’) with compassion (‘heartience”).

He was Scotland’s Dynamic Place Award ‘Person of the Year’ 2004 – for achieving a new standard in healing environment created at Glasgow Homoeopathic Hospital (www.ghh.info). At a personal level he says “ I am now old enough to have made major mistakes and young enough to learn from them. Fortunately, I am not as old as I used to be, and I am even younger since my daughter Karina Maia was born in June 2005".

Ali Glasscott (Ireland)

Ali Glasscott originally came from a background in teaching English Literature and Drama, having graduated in English Literature from Reading University, UK and subsequently receiving her teaching diploma in English and Drama from the New Era Academy in London. She graduated from the Burren School of Homeopathy in 2000, going on to become one of the core teaching staff of that school until it closed in 2006.

She runs a busy homeopathic clinic in Sligo, specialising in special needs children, an area in which she is most interested and for which her expertise is widely recognised within the international homeopathic community. She has taught numerous seminars in Homeopathy and runs her own postgraduate course based at her clinic.

Louis Klein (Canada)

Louis Klein is a world-class senior practitioner, lecturer, teacher, and professional consultant. He has been studying and practicing curative homeopathy for over 30 years and has been registered with the Society of Homoeopaths in England since 1984. He started his studies with George Vithoulkas and has studied with other masters of homeopathy over the years. He has a Licentiate of Homeopathy from the London College of Classical Homeopathy. Louis Klein has guest lectured at the leading schools of homeopathy in North America and Europe.

Louis' expertise is his ability as a homeopathic clinician, to deal with even the most difficult of cases. His gift is his ability to teach these clinical skills with clarity, depth, and humour. His style is interactive and friendly.

Louis practices in West Vancouver, Canada. He also has a practice on Bowen Island, B.C. where he lives with his wife and 2 children.

Mike Bridger (UK)

Mike Bridger has been practicing in the U.K for twenty five years and teaching for almost as long. He has worked with the Terence Higgins Trust and was involved there in the homeopathic treatment of Aids patients until moving to Somerset in 1989. He worked at two medical centres in Taunton alongside doctors and alternative practitioners. He lectures regularly in London, Ireland, Finland and for fifteen years was a clinician at the London College of Homeopathy teaching clinic.

He is the Principal of The Contemporary College of Homeopathy in Exeter, Devon and co-director of The Orion Postgraduate Training Course held annually in London UK. He has spoken at conferences in the USA, UK and Ireland. His passion is to keep homeopathy accessible and communicated in a way which adheres to its original principle of simplicity.

Chris Kurz (Austria)

Chris Kurz was born in Austria, where he studied physics and Jazz saxophone in Vienna. He moved to America and graduated with a PhD in Plasma Physics from MIT in Boston. A serendipitous but intense encounter with homeopathy set him on the track to study it, and he spent his nights and weekends henceforth at seminars and behind books. After a formal course with The School of Homeopathy in Devon, UK, he began a part time practice which he continued after he moved back to Austria in 1998.

He has published numerous articles, spoken at conferences, and also published a book entitled "Imagine Homeopathy" in which he proposes a novel way to understand homeopathy through the use of images, metaphors, and experiments.

Drs. Bhawisha & Shachindra Joshi, (Mumbai, India)

JoshiDynamic duo is their nickname and their presentations tell you exactly why. Their study on the big cats and minerals is extensive and their remarkable clinical work with noble gases, nosodes and imponderables has created a breakthrough in the practice of homoeopaths all over the globe.

Their powerful illustrative humour and packed lectures reflect their enthusiasm and passion for homoeopathy. Dr. Bhawisha is working on her upcoming book “Homoeopathy and patterns in the periodic table”. Declan Hammond (Ireland)

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Declan’s life and work has been a continued, passionate search for the most effective healing tools. His journey has taken him all over the globe, studying Western and Eastern psychologies, Tantra Yoga and traditional shamanic practices. Declan considers homeopathy to be an evolutionary tool for personal growth and spiritual development. His homeopathic practice is a unique synthesis of ancient and modern healing techniques. He has also conducted a number of innovative provings of new homeopathic remedies. Declan lectures and teaches homeopathy worldwide. He is co-founder and a director of The Irish School of Homoeopathy.

Irene Schlingensiepen-Brysch (Germany)

Irene Schlingensiepen-Brysch studied agriculture and medicine in Germany. She worked on her PhD and later in cancer and brain research at the Göttingen Max Planck Institute with Otto Creutzfeld for ten years. Later Irene studied homoeopathy in Germany and comprehensive further education in seven segments with Rajan Sankaran in Bombay over six years.

Irene Schlingensiepen initiated the annual international symposium "Science meets Homoeopathy". This meeting brings together quantum physicists, pharmacologists, biologists, psychiatrists and homoeopaths in Göttingen. Irene also founded the Brüder-Grimm Institut for Systematic Homoeopathy in Göttingen for research and teaching in 2002. Inspired by the findings of Scholten and Sankaran her work resulted in a further differentiation of 10 levels of casetaking and follow up which fascinatingly leads to a deeper understanding of the subconscious: In her daily work of systematisation Irene further excavated the source of symptoms of a patient to explore the realm of rubrics, sensations and beyond.

Annette Sneevliet (Holland)

Annette Sneevliet was born 1960 in Venlo, Holland. She started studying homoeopathy in 1982 during her medical training. After becoming a doctor in 1986, she did a three-year full time homoeopathic training at the practice and school of Alfons Geukens in Belgium. She has studied with George Vithoulkas, Ananda Zaren, Rajan Sankaran, Jan Scholten and Massimo Mangialavori. She has run her own practice as a homoeopathic doctor in Holland since 1990. She is a highly appreciated teacher at the Dutch school for homoeopathic doctors, the SHO, in Holland, and regularly gives seminars in Holland, Germany as well as the Czech republic, Slovakia, England and Scotland.

Annette is very much influenced by the work of Massimo Mangialavori and Rajan Sankaran, whose work in her experience complements each other and builds on that of her former teachers. "They make my practice a joy, so I am deeply grateful to all my teachers, from Hahnemann to the inspiring teachers of our time." Annette Sneevliet finds it an exciting time in homoeopathy where different approaches give her the possibility to have a variety of options for solving a case. She will be talking about the Bombay method, explaining more about sensation level and will show one or two cases to illustrate the beauty of the method
